Acoustic Cabinet Smoke Exhaust Fans

The Soler & Palau CHAT-N series comprises direct-driven, backward-curved centrifugal acoustic cabinet fans designed for smoke extraction in fire conditions. The fans feature a robust galvanized steel frame with panels lined with 25 mm fire-resistant fibreglass acoustic insulation (M0). Their backward-curved impellers are dynamically balanced in accordance with ISO 1940 to support reliable operation and reduce dirt and grease accumulation. All models incorporate motors rated F400-120 and approved for continuous operation (S1) and emergency operation (S2). Motors feature IP55 protection and Class H insulation. Depending on the model, the range offers three-phase motors with 4, 6, or 4/8 poles. Electrical configurations include 230/400 V, 50 Hz single-speed motors and 400 V, 50 Hz two-speed motors. The series is intended for ventilation and smoke extraction applications requiring acoustic treatment.
