Reliable Alarm Check Valve
The Reliable Model E Alarm Check Valve is designed for wet-pipe automatic fire sprinkler systems. It operates as a water flow alarm device, allowing continuous water flow into the sprinkler system when one or more automatic fire sprinklers operate. The valve supports mechanical and electrical alarm activation and features a precision retard chamber and external bypass to help prevent false alarms under variable supply pressure conditions. It can be installed vertically or horizontally and is available with ANSI flanged, grooved, and metric flanged connection configurations. Optional trim arrangements are available, including individual-part trim, pre-assembled trim, and factory-trimmed valves. The manufacturer documentation lists UL, cULus, FM, LPC (UK), NYC BS & A, SSL Australia, and CE conformity to EN 12259-2 for metric sizes only.
