ROOF MOUNTED AXIAL FLOW FANS

The Soler & Palau HCTB / HCTT series comprises roof-mounted axial flow fans with horizontal air discharge, designed for industrial and commercial ventilation. The range includes Type B models for air extraction and Type A models for air supply. The fans feature a galvanized steel base, a spun aluminium cowl, a bird-proof guard, and dynamically balanced impellers in accordance with ISO 1940. Impeller construction varies by size: models 315–400 use injection-moulded plastic reinforced with fibreglass, while models 450–1000 feature separate plastic blades mounted in a die-cast aluminium hub. Depending on the model, the range offers single-phase 230 V or three-phase 400 V, 50 Hz motors, with different pole configurations and speed-control options. Standard motors are IP65, Class F, with thermal protection, subject to model-specific exceptions. Models 800–1000 are IP55 and do not include thermal protection. Applications include industrial process ventilation, agricultural facilities, swimming pools, and data centres. Selected three-phase models in sizes 800–1000 are available in ATEX versions for specified gas or dust hazardous-area classifications. ATEX motor specifications, protection ratings, and electrical characteristics must be verified for the selected model.
